As a future-oriented and open system, the Finnova package stands out in the market for its wide range of functionalities and its low total cost of ownership (TCO). The innovative software is available as a whole package or in the form of single modules that may be introduced into existing system landscapes. In addition, the Finnova Development Kit offers the possibility to order bank-specific extensions from external certified developers. Another feature that underlines the openness of the system is Finnova OPAL®: The SOA-conform technology allows integrating third-party products via standard-based interfaces.
Our approach ‘parameterising instead of programming’ enables us to transpose the bank-specific requirements in a release compatible way. The financial intermediaries have therefore a tailor-made tool at hand that allows pursuing this strategy on the basis of standard software. All members of the Finnova Community rely on one and the same standard platform irrespective of whether they are universal or private banks.
